Terms & Conditions

By registering for or participating in any Mile4 Fitness Race event, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not register or participate.

• 2.1 Participants must be 18 years of age or older, or have written parental/guardian consent.
• 2.2 Participants must be in good physical health and capable of completing the race format.
• 2.3 Mile4 reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any participant at any time.

• 3.1 Participation is at your own risk. You confirm that you are medically fit to participate.
• 3.2 Mile4 strongly recommends that all participants obtain medical clearance from a qualified physician prior to participation.
• 3.3 Mile4 is not liable for any injury, illness, or death arising from participation in any event.

• 4.1 By participating, you waive any and all claims against Mile4 Fitness Race, its organisers, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliates for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during or in connection with the event.
• 4.2 This waiver applies to the fullest extent permitted by South African law.

• 5.1 Mile4 may photograph or film participants during events.
• 5.2 By participating, you consent to your image being used for promotional purposes by Mile4 Fitness Race across all media channels.
• 5.3 If you do not consent, you must notify Mile4 in writing prior to the event.

• 6.1 Entry fees are non-refundable unless an event is cancelled by Mile4.
• 6.2 Entries may be transferred to another participant with prior written approval from Mile4.
• 6.3 If an event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond Mile4's control (force majeure), a credit or partial refund may be offered at Mile4's discretion.

• 7.1 Participants must behave in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner at all times.
• 7.2 Any form of cheating, aggression, or misconduct may result in immediate disqualification and removal from the event.

• 8.1 Mile4 Fitness Race processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
• 8.2 Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for event administration, communication, and marketing purposes (with consent).
• 8.3 You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting info@mile4.co.za.

9.1 All content on this website including logos, text, images, and design is the property of Mile4 Fitness Race and may not be reproduced without written permission.

• 10.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
• 10.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

Mile4 reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued participation in events constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
